Well, this is it. After next week, I am officially retired.
I am trying so hard to focus on the
I've experienced quite an assortment of reactions from coworkers, from happiness at my good fortune, to resentment that I'm retiring "so early". But to a person, they are jealous.
And that's the most telling thing, isn't it. Nobody wants to be there. And everyone wishes they were me. So why can't I just grin and enjoy it?

because change like that is scary ... but you are going to have a great time with your camera and learning to relax and just not feel pressured ever again ...
This is a strange moment in life, but as soon as you build a new daily routine and with some time (give yourself plenty of time to adjust) you'll begin to enjoy your new life. Be extra gentle with yourself for a while.
Thanks to all of you for your kindness and support. I really don't know what's wrong with me. I should be ecstatic. Guess it's as you say - change is hare,and I need to be a bit more gentle on myself. Again - thanks!
